Unlike victims

He was a dictator of great renown living in Rome
His appearance was commanding, with eyes that shone
Careful of his physical appearance he was elegant
His presence commanded respect, he was the regent

Ceasar his name was and he was master of campaigns
Far and wide spread the Roman empire under his ensign
He was feared and hated by all who served the empire
But there was none who could challenge his frontier

He considered himself invincible and yet was weak
His paranoia of treachery made him to oracles speak
Animal sacrifices were all done in ritual ceremony
Their entrails consulted for signs of insurgency

The Master of campaigns didnt pay attention to interior
Unrest amongst his senators was rising up superior
Until one day they plotted to overthrow their monarch
When he came to the Senate for addressing the oligarch

They surrounded him when he was rising ready to speak
And those he trusted as friends stabbed daggers deep
Including Brute, whom he considered as his own son
Whose final stab, made Ceasar's life to come undone

Ceasar's life was vastly different from that of Christ
But in the end they were both betrayed by their kind
Jude was subverted to betray the soul of kind shepherd
While Brute was there when Ceasar was finally murdered
