There is a cause behind everything that is material
It is a wonderful thing that is subtle and ethereal
Unseen it creates wonders of light and color fill
The holy and the profane are unified in its imprint
It creates the barren outcrop of shattered rock
And the verdant layers of forest on the hilltop
The parched desert sands are rolled into dunes
While the boiling lava shatters out as dense fumes
Nothing is left out of its love filled immense ambit
Everything is unified by its grace as lofty flight
Wonderful colors unify in brightest beams of light
Visible to a new born but unseen by elderly sight
Unconditional love it is called by inadequate word
It is that which the Divine Mother gives to us
Rejection and indifference are repaid in its currency
And filling my heart with it is the greatest sanctity
