Divine oasis

Lights wink past at high speed as the road unwinds below wheels
There is a constant streaming blaze, mesmerized my mind reels
Infinity's end is approaching as a brilliant arc suspended ahead
There are no more way stations at which I can break for a rest

An awesome presence waited with patience at arc's end
It cannot be escaped and shall be met on sacred ground
A clean severance awaits the soul wandering through time
The relentless rhythm of time's cradle shall finally die

Looking back I see a transcendent globe of roaming light
Was that the place that I called home for a brief while?
The momentous struggles and complex problems fade
There was nothing left of them but dappling shades

All that I believed to be a constant vanished in an instant
My truths dissolved alongwith my disbelief into essence
The Supreme Grace showed up to reveal reality's basis
And there was nothing of me left to seek in divinity's oasis
