Goals are considered important in life's path
How can we progress unless we know end spot?
A life without a goal is assumed to be waste
Such a person is well rebuked by those chaste
Those with a goal spend their time planning
They want to make sure that life is winning
More often than not they lose the present
As their sights are set on future ascent
And then what happens on reaching the goal?
Well there is satisfaction on reaching shore
But that is short lived as there rises ennui
And soon there is another goal towards infinity
But all goals finally end in the sleepless state
Nature doesnt prescribe a goal for it to relate
Witness the thundering flow of a mighty river
Its beauty is in its current, not in final merger
I hope to have a life that is completely goalless
Thus I dont have to plan and spend nights sleepless
My life will not have any events that are unexpected
Because I am open to all thought, spirit manifested

Thank you for making me understand my goalless life. That is exactly what I am, never like to plan, always want to enjoy the lively ness that comes from within, without planning. You are making me understand my inside. When I see people with lot of goals and they reach, they celebrate, that causes me some confusion, since i am not yet a ripened fruit. I know i have a goal, which is end my day with might, live every day, watch a sunrise, and then sunset, get the strength from the nature etc...they may sound simple but thats what gives me joy. When confusion comes i want to be in a position to see that clearly and then move on with pride without experience any shake. I will sure get there. Thank you very much for all your thoughts and light :-)
