Life has its phases: and each has its own duties and rules
These are at times mandated and sometimes what we choose
What is applicable to one phase is not valid in yet another
Learning to let go of anachronisms is needed to go further
However are greatest failing is our inability to let go
We pile up our life's work as a dam inhibiting the flow
Our minds become as crowded as our attics with past relics
Their dust rises up to choke our sight from seeing true bliss
Bringing a phase to a graceful end is an important skill
Knowing to transform in coordination with destiny's will
Holding onto past prevents us from being present's hero
Our stage call has come and it is time for the next virtuoso
Knowing our purpose in life guides us to our role's script
Enacting which we need to move away from stages well lit
Departing actors are not mourned for leaving the stage
It is their exit that allows re-entry for yet another phase

Thank you for the Director's cut, this gave me lot of strength to understand what's going on in my life(phase). I thought i am the kind of person who let go of anything, somehow unnoticed changed my attitude towards life. I realized that i should be in awareness in my phases.
I like the way you explained, about putting a graceful end to any phase, I believe that i used to do it and then never look back into my past. Today I am feeling light and ready to celebrate.
I never mourned for anybody's departure and i always think that I am prepared to let go. I now think that universe is reflecting my thoughts. Thank you for being there in this(my) phase of life and I am thanking the universe for your thoughts
Keep writing
You are welcome Hema. I am glad to be of service. God writes through me so you can take these words that you read in the blog as directly coming from the Divine Spirit. I started this particular entry, the Director's Cut, on Friday night and couldnt complete it then. I had no idea what I was to write when I started the first para. I completed the rest today afternoon and as it turns out the content seems to have been of service to you in some fashion. Such is the hand of God.
