Gordian knot

Fatigue assails the unattentive mind, it is not lack of rest
Sleep is not an essential need contrary to opinion wide spread
Nocturnal ryhthms are not different from those attained in morn
And they are all same to Spirit from which all mortals are born

Present moment is where Spirit resides because time is illusive
Our vocabulary doesnt admit of a terminology more descriptive
We feel the need to sequence events in a matrix of time and space
And thus see a past, present, and future mixing inside a maze

Assume then that such arbitrary distinctions do not exist
Free the mind from the thralldom of mundane event's deceit
They shall be a contortion of the Truth and misrepresent
Seeking an answer in them akin to an unicorn's apprehend

All our problems are not to be solved in discrete isolation
Their premise is suspect and thus conclusions in aberration
Shift your perspective to a different plane of attention
And sever clean the Gordian knot holding life in detention
