Self observed self and decided to appear when events reached a head
Creation was self obsessed and went on a rampage which was widespread
Dogma and tradition were given preference, love and compassion removed
Lives were spent in battling sectarian belief, causing gross intrude
A picture was created and the creator stepped into the vibrant canvas
Losing themselves in the heady elixir of their creation, spiritual impasse
Atributing permanence to arbitrary rules, paying fatal homage to symbols
Providing them strength and giving them Godhood, it shivers and trembles
Now a spirit appeared, as a force was needed to balance creation's fury
Speaking the contrary tongue, it moved gentle amongst its peer's jury
Barbaric forces abounded on all sides of its light filled frail fortress
Destruction of its love seemed inevitable, as it caused darkness distress
Finally the throngs rose up as one, and poisoned the mind of Spirit's disciple
Sitting in communion for the Last Supper, bliss manifest quite delightful
Accepting Jude's act of treason, yet knowing the need for a dreadful demise
Spirit smiled and set forth for a crucifixion, releasing endless, love's premise
